One of the things Rachel has learned over years of coaching is that the issues people bring into the conversation are rarely the ones they leave talking about. Conversations that begin with difficult decisions, competing priorities or leadership challenges often reveal things far deeper. The leaders Rachel works with are accomplished, thoughtful, and deeply committed to making a difference. Yet even the most capable leaders can find themselves moving so quickly that they lose the opportunity to step back, reflect, and gain perspective. Rachel partners with leaders to step back from the urgency of the moment to explore new ways of seeing themselves, their relationships and the challenges they face – leading to better decisions, stronger partnerships and tangible results.
Rachel often tells clients that their coaching time is sacred because it is intentionally carved out of busy lives. It is an opportunity to step away from the pace of leadership and into conversations that are thoughtful, honest and entirely their own. Her coaching is direct, grounded in trust and designed to challenge thinking with curiosity and care. Clients frequently tell her they arrived knowing exactly what they wanted to discuss, only to discover that the conversation led somewhere far more meaningful. Rachel pays close attention to the moments when thinking begins to shift—the pause, the deep breath, the unexpected insight, or the question that changes how someone sees themselves.
Partnership in coaching means those moments matter when they lead to different choices, stronger relationships, new ways of leading and tangible results. Insight is important and its value is measured by what happens after the coaching conversation ends.
Before becoming an executive coach, Rachel spent more than twenty years in senior leadership, marketing, communications, and consulting roles, giving her firsthand experience leading through complexity, organizational change, competing priorities, and high-stakes decision-making. She spent the bulk of her corporate career in telecom. Today, she partners with senior leaders, executives, and leadership teams across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, combining practical business experience with evidence-based coaching to help leaders navigate complexity with greater awareness, intention, and impact.
Rachel is an International Coaching Federation Master Certified Coach (MCC), the highest credential awarded by the ICF. She is also a Certified Executive Coach (Royal Roads University) and holds certifications in Leadership Circle Profile™, Birkman Signature Solutions™, Immunity to Change™, Conversational Intelligence™, Global Team Coaching Institute™, SuccessFinder™, and Neuroscience of Coaching™.
